| 01/05/2009 | Would like to know how to get to the PTO page? MODERATOR RESPONSE: Laurie, on the new web site, there is a section reserved for PTO. You would normally look in the "For Parents" section and would find a link on the left side for PTO. HOWEVER, currently the PTO has no content posted, therefore, no link to the PTO section shows up. I would welcome content submissions from the PTO and would be glad to train PTO representatives on how to post content if the PTO officials would like to send someone my way. |

| 04/29/2009 | Homework pages are not ever updated on the web site for the elementary students. I've seen it updated some on the middle and high school but not the elementary. This needs to be done. If the parents are aware of the assignments and any that are missing, this could be addressed at home and with the teacher and then turned in in a timely fashion rather than after a progress report. I've talked with other parents that agree with me on this subject. I understand student responsibility when it comes to homework but I like to stay on top of homework as well. Can it be made mandatory that teachers utilize this option on the web site to keep parents more informed? |

| 09/28/2009 | Is it possible to access the "lunch account" to see what kind of balance my children have? I have no way of knowing when I need to send more lunch money with my kids unless I get a charge notice. I'd like to stay ahead of the game. Thank you! I love the website and love being able to see the kids grade averages, it really helps me to determine their extra curricular activities! Homework assignments would be beneficial if possible but understand the effort that would take on the part of the teachers. Moderator Comment: You can view account balances by creating a PayPAMS account. For details see http://www.hcs-k12.org/vnews/display.v/ART/4a9c41ae2441c |
