Training Opportunity.
Hillsboro City Schools will host its first March Madness Technology Refresher Conference on Saturday March 13, 2010.
The conference will offer hands-on training to Hillsboro City Schools teachers, aides, bus drivers, cooks, custodians, and substitute teachers. Each attendee may choose up to four classes from a variety of classes offered. Each class will be 80 minutes in length and where practical, will features hands-on practice in the skill area.
Classes being offered include a variety of SMART Board classes, training on Senteo Student Response Systems, GroupWise eMail and Calendar, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Teacher Web Page creation, tricks, tools and resources available on the HCS network, Kruder Online Career Portfolio, ProgressBook, Aims Web, and Web 2.0.
Professional development CEU's, but not stipends will be awarded for this class.
Lunch is on your own from 11:00 to 12:00.
