Dragon Puppets

The students learned about the Chinese New Year.  They compared how we celebrate in the United States to the Chinese traditions.  The students viewed images of silk dragons that parade down the streets during the celebration.  We discussed colors and how red is important to the people of China because it chases away bad luck.  The students then designed their own dragon puppets.
