Pie in the Face

Renaissance fundraiser

by Lynn Musser

January 13, 2010

On December 18th during 8th period, everyone gathered in the gym for the  “Pie in Your Face” renaissance fundraiser. During the last week before break, students and staff contributed money to boxes corresponding to students who agreed “to be pied”. On the last day, principals, Mr. Earley and Mr. Lilly, challenged the student body to double the amount of money collected, and they, too, would take a pie in the face. The challenge was met with Lizzie Keister, Emmanual Turner, Holly Fouch, and Tay Captain raising the most money and therefore, receiving a pie in the face. Everyone cheered as the students and principals received their pies.
