School Watch

Before & After School Childcare

Crystal Fatica

October 29, 2009

School Watch is a before and after school childcare program provided as a cooperative effort between the local schools and the High County Family YMCA. This program provides affordable before/after school childcare for children in grades K-7 and  is licensed by  ODJFS. The program is specially designed with activities to meet the needs and interests of school-aged children and their families.

Conveniently located at Hillsboro Elementary School, elementary students can arrive as early as 6:30 AM and are dismissed to their classes at the start of school. After school, middle school students can ride a bus from the Hillsboro Middle School to the elementary and elementary students are sent to the School watch area at the end of the day, where care is again available until 6:00 PM. School Watch only offers childcare on days when school is in session, and therefore is not available on days when school is closed.

The cost is $5.00 per session. Financial Aide is available through ODJFS:
