Every Wednesday - 1 hour late start, students must arrive by 9:55.

Students that choose to eat in the cafe for breakfast this week will receive a prize.

The grade level that has the most students eating this week for breakfast will be awarded with age appropriate playground toys.

Please come out and support our students. One piece of art will be on display for each student in grades K-5.

There will be over 1000 pieces of art on display. We will have our art activity room for everyone to be creative and enjoy. Some of our 5th grade students will also do a performance on their recorders.

Kindergarten Registration

Registration 9am-12 & 1-4pm

Children in Hillsboro School District that will be 5 on or before August 1st are eligible to enroll.

Parent/Guardian should bring:

*Certified copy of Birth Certificate

*Child’s Shot Record

*Child’s Social Security Card

*Current Utility Bill for proof of residency

*Parent’s Driver’s License

*Custody Papers if applicable

Hillsboro Winter Sports Awards Night

The Hillsboro Winter Sports Awards Night will be held on March 2 at 7 p.m. for the middle school and on March 17 at 7 p.m. for the high school.


National Honor Society Induction Held

Hillsboro Middle School National Junior Honor Society held  induction on Thursday February 12, 2015. Forty-three 7th and 8th graders joined the twenty-nine 8th grade members that were inducted last year. This year Ms. Pam Limes was our featured speaker.

CCP (College Credit Plus) Meeting
CCP (College Credit Plus) Meeting
This meeting is mandatory for any student in grades 6 through 11 this school year who wishes to participate in taking college courses next school year.  This meeting is for both students and parents although students are not required to attend.  The meeting is February 10th at 6:30 PM at Hillsboro Elementary School
If you cannot attend this meeting the 2nd meeting will be February 26th at 6:30 PM.  Attendance at one of the meetings is MANDATORY for participation in school year 15/16.  The CCP program is replacing the former program know as PSEO.
