The purpose of this event is to simulate a sales presentation and assisting customers in a customer relations practicum that is related to agriculture. This year, for the sales presentation, the Hillsboro Ag Sales team sold feed pans. In their presentation, the members listened to the customers' needs, assessed their current situation, explained the benefits of the product, and answered any questions the customers had. All of this was done with the goal in mind of selling their product. Similarly, in the customer relations practicum, members were given a situation and asked to assist the customer in making final selections. This year, members were given different types of dog food and after listening to the customers needs, were asked to advise the customer on which dog food best suited his/her needs.
